The CUESA Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is open three days a week—Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On T and Th, the smaller markets occupy the front of the building along the Embarcadero; on Sat, the much larger market is held both in front of the Ferry Building and on the rear plaza overlooking the Bay. Mark your calendars for “Iron Chef Challenge” on Saturday, October 24, 2015 – 11:15am to 11:45am and enjoy samples from the International Culinary Center’s “Farm to Table” program.

You scream, I scream, we all scream for Secret Breakfast Ice Cream? There’s always room for ice cream and the rule “dessert last” does not apply at the Humphry Slocombe. The ever popular Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream was named one of the ‘50 Treats to Eat Before You Die’, but the vanilla base with bourbon and corn flakes specialty, Secret Breakfast, is just as popular and delicious!

Come hungry and stop by the CUESA Classroom on August 15 from 11-11:45am for a cooking demo with Anjan Mitra featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. CUESA’s pre-festival cooking demos are offered in partnership with Eat Drink SF, San Francisco’s annual food, wine, and spirits festival at Fort Mason Center on August 20-23. All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
