Exploratorium Free Day. Visit the Exploratorium on Saturday, December 6 (Winter HoliDay) when they open the doors to the public for free. Experience the Smuin Ballet’s 20th edition of The Christmas Show featuring everything from jazz to ballet to tap. During the first half, the dancers will be in all white and performing more classical routines. The second half includes dancers in all red performing to hits such as “White Christmas,” “Santa Baby,” and “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” December 17 – 27.

Nutcracker Under the Dome is the Nutcracker like you’ve never seen it before. This holiday season, Westfield San Francisco Centre’s iconic Dome comes to life each evening every half hour from 5pm until mall closing at 9pm through December 31 with a one-of-a-kind animated 3D light spectacular.

See the California Academy of Science in a different light at their weekly NightLife event. In addition to exploring the museum and enjoying its special activities, you will also get the chance to enjoy a few cocktails as you make new friends. December 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
