Take a minute and meet one of our favorite neighbors, Local Kitchen and Wine Merchant at 330 1st Street #1. Local Kitchen brings urban rustic style to the Rincon Hill neighborhood, which they describe as Desirable, Ambitious, and Modish. They keep it simple but delicious with a menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, mouth-watering roasted chicken, pastas, and scrumptious desserts. They also have a creative cocktail menu, beer taps featuring regional brews, and of course an impeccable wine list.

We asked our friends at Local Kitchen how they come up with new menu items…

LK: We are focused on creating a total epicurean experience. Our menus are updated every season, sourcing our ingredients locally and seasonally for the highest quality, and debuted to the neighborhood during our “Local Love” events where we host our neighbors to sample the menu for free in a cocktail party setting. Our head chef Ola Fendert draws from his own culinary experiences and international food travels to carefully curate handcrafted dishes that are inspiring, au courant and of course, pair well with our distinguished wine list.

The most ordered dish at LK: Truffle Parmesan fries! (Yelpers agree that the fries with truffle oil and parmesan cheese are delish)

Favorite Happy Hour pairing: One of our amazing artisan pizzas and glass of wine for only $15.

We host a Winemaker Takeover every month where we invite artisan and small boutique wineries to come in and pour wines for our guests, while creating special menu items to pair with those wines. Our next one is February 24th from 6-9PM. We will feature amazing brunches for Easter and Mother’s Day, our most popular days at the restaurant that get better every year. And we will be featuring an all-night Candlelit Dinner on Earth Day in recognition of the international ‘Lights Out’ Earth Hour. Don’t miss our amazing Mexican Pizza on Cinco de Mayo too!

Brunch: Weekends 11:00am – 2:30pm (with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s)
Lunch: Monday–Friday 11:30am – 2:30 pm
Dinner: Sunday-Tuesday 5:30pm-9:30pm, Wednesday-Saturday 5:30pm-10:30pm
Happy Hour: Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm
