May 1, #BayAreaUnite Night – Golden State Warriors. Come show your support for Dub Nation and the Orange and Black!

May 3, “Tres” de Mayo Block Party at Taverna Aventine. Taverna Aventine is painting Barbery Coast red, white, and green to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this year.

May 4, Festival Season Kick-Off: Tribute to Charlie Palmieri. The new season of the 2019 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival will open in May and continue through October.

May 5, Curators & Artists in Conversation. Join MoAD for a conversation about and special preview of our next exhibition Coffee, Rhum, Sugar & Gold: A Postcolonial Paradox.

May 5, HOW WEIRD 2019. How Weird is a celebration of peace, creativity, and weirdness.

May 5-Oct 6, Concerts in the park. Golden Gate Park Band plays a variety of music (classical, marches, opera, swing, and show tunes) at Spreckels Temple of Music in Golden Gate Park.

May 7, The Italian Table: Creating Festive Meals for Family and Friends. Combining menus and recipes with visual experience and inspiration—as well as insight into the traditions of the food and celebrations.

May 9, San Francisco Bike to Work Day. With so many venues to visit near Jasper, we’ve rounded up a few nearby bike friendly locales to explore while striding in style this season.

May 10, Waterfront Beer Festival. SF Maritime Beerfest has unlimited beer tasting, entertainment, food vendors, and views at Pier 45.

May 11, Rincon Hill Dog Park Pup Crawl. Enjoy some brews, barks, and bites while raising money for Rincon Hill Dog Park!

May 11, SF Matcha Fest. Head to SoMa StrEat Food Park and grab your matcha bes-teas and experience the vibrant green, mood-enhancing, antioxidant powerhouse that’s fueling Insta feeds.

May 12, Mother’s Day run. Mother’s Day 5K is a scenic run/walk through Crissy Field and Marina Green for all ages, plus a half-mile kids’ run.

May 18, Rick Hackett, featuring Allstar Organics. Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

May 19, Bay to Breakers. Billed as the oldest continuous foot race in the world, the 12K starts near the Embarcadero and finishes at the ocean. Expect to see costumes.

May 19, Everyone Loves a Corgi. North California in Mission Bay and will have a table at Spark with goodies for all the Corgs at Spark Social SF!

May 20, Game of Thrones Night. Brace yourselves. Game of Thrones Night is back at Oracle Park once again!

May 22, Art Bash. The hottest art party of the year returns at SFMOMA, spanning all seven floors of the museum.

May 22, MARVEL Night. Get a limited-edition Giants themed Spiderman Bobblehead! Come dressed as your favorite superhero for what should be an action-packed night.

May 25-26, Carnaval San Francisco. Celebrate Latin & Caribbean culture with a weekend festival of music, art, and food on Harrison Street plus a colorful Grand Parade on Sunday.

May 26, Summer Squeeze – Bottomless Memorial Day. Uncap the sunblock, throw on some shades, and kickoff summer with a Bottomless Memorial Day Picnic at Spark Social SF!

May 27, Memorial Day celebration. The Memorial Day Ceremony includes a Grand March, speeches and music, followed by a 21-gun salute, and then a picnic with food for sale.
