We’ve rounded up a few nearby must attend events this month that include theme runs, yappy hour, flower markets, winter cocktails, and much more. Map out your month here:

January 3, The San Francisco Winter Cocktail Party. A special celebration of seasonal cocktails and DJs at Bar Fluxus.

January 4, Golden State Warriors vs. Detroit Pistons. Cheer on our home team at Chase Center.

January 4, SPIN Community Ping Pong Lessons. SPIN is introducing a community building group lesson once per month on their center court.

Thru January 5, Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center. The Bay Area’s largest outdoor ice rink – Embarcadero Plaza, adjacent to Four Embarcadero Center and across from the historic Ferry Building.

January 5, 12, 19, 26, Thrive City Farmers’ Market. Every Sunday from 8AM – 1PM, you can enjoy the freshest produce, flowers and more from the finest local vendors here in the Bay.

January 11, Harlem Globetrotters. Take in the legendary hoopsters at Chase Center.

January 12, Hot Chocolate 15K/5K. Run through Golden Gate Park and along the ocean on the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K, which includes snacks along the way and hot chocolate at the finish line.

January 13, Fun Run. Enjoy a flat loop around the neighborhood at a modest pace OR up Telegraph Hill to Coit Tower where you can earn the spectacular view by getting yourself up the Filbert St. Stairs.

January 15, Yappy Hour. Mix, mingle and make new friends at Rincon Hill Dog Park.

January 16, Spellbound, San Francisco Ballet’s 2020 Opening Night Gala. The Gala embraces the spirit of SF Ballet’s 2020 Season, which features an array of magical, innovative, and unexpected ballets.

January 18-19, Chinese New Year Flower Market Fair. Shop for fresh flowers for Chinese New Year from 120 vendors, and watch traditional Chinese magicians, acrobats, and folk dancers in Chinatown.

Thru January 20, Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square. Lace up your skates and join us at The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square presented by Alaska Airlines!

Thru January 20, Cirque du Soleil – Amaluna. Cirque du Soleil returns to the San Francisco Bay Area with AMALUNA under the Big Top in Lot A at Oracle Park.

January 26, Clean ‘n Sweep. Every month neighbors join together to maintain our precious Rincon Hill dog park.

January 27, Beethoven250: Chamber Recital at the SF Symphony. The all-star chamber ensemble brings impeccable musicality and virtuosity to a program that celebrates Beethoven’s 250th birthday.

January 29, Winter Cocktails of the Farmers Market. Savor the best of the season at CUESA’s popular Cocktails of the Farmers Market series.
