Prepare yourself for a truly unique and informative experience as Food Tours comes to our neighbor, The Ferry Building. Attendees will walk and eat their way through the historic Ferry Building with stops at popular merchants and farmers such as beekind honey, Boccalone (Tasty Salted Pig Parts), Recchiuti Confections, Far West Fungi, G. L. Alfieri, Cowgirl Creamery, Rancho Gordo New World Specialty Food, Humphry Slocombe, and Sōw Juice.

Held Wednesdays, January 18 and 25 and Fridays, January 20 and 27, the tasting tours will only be offered on 4 days during quieter times, allowing for tours which will reduce crowding and allow the knowledgeable staff of each shop the opportunity to be involved in the dialogue.

Tours will be conducted by long time Ferry Building members, giving attendees an opportunity to garner firsthand insider knowledge, and will focus on the history of the building, the merchants, the sustainable farmers, and the community that supports them. Attendees will learn all about the historic venue while enjoying tastes at nine shops, bringing guests closer to those who have made the Ferry Building Marketplace a world-renown venue.

So block out a weekday afternoon, grab a friend and head down to the waterfront to enjoy a truly unique foodie experience.
