Must Attend Events in November
Fall is in full swing in the City and Jasper puts you in the center of excitement. We’ve rounded up a few must attend events this month around the area that include plenty of opportunities to get active at the Ferry Building, see a giant gingerbread house, watch the dazzling tree lighting, cheer on the Warriors in the new Chase Center and much more. November 1, Fall Cocktail Party w/ Apple Cider Mimosas. A special celebration of seasonal cocktails and DJs at Bar Fluxus, SF’s newest art bar that’s tucked away in a secret alley you’d never find on your own.
November 1-2, Coco—Film with the SF Symphony. This Academy Award-winning smash hit comes to the SF Symphony.
November 2, SPIN SF Community Ping Pong Lessons. SPIN is introducing a community building group lesson once per month on the center court.
November 3, Golden Gate Half. This marathon includes scenic views as you run from Aquatic Park across the Golden Gate Bridge. The 5K goes to Crissy Field Marsh and back.
November 3, 10, 17, Fog City Flea at The Ferry Building. Every Sunday through November 17 from 10am to 5pm the Ferry Building will host a curated market of makers & merchants.
November 6, Flow & Jo. Join 111 Minna Gallery for our monthly complimentary 60-minute vinyasa flow yoga class and hot cup of joe courtesy of Red Door Coffee.
November 6, 13, 20, Wellness Wednesdays at The Ferry Building. Join the Ferry Building and MINDBODY for a FREE wellness series every Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm.
November 6-January 20, Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square. Lace up your skates and join us at The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square presented by Alaska Airlines!
November 8, Día de Los Muertos: City of Souls Closing. The SOMArts’ Día de Los Muertos exhibition is one of the most internationally diverse Day of the Dead celebrations in the United States.
November 8-10, Topgolf Live at Oracle Park. Topgolf Live SF will give sports fans, golfers and non-golfers alike a chance to hit golf balls from Oracle Park’s Club Level into colorful targets on the field.
November 9 , CABFEST; Cabernet Wine Festival. San Francisco’s premiere community festival celebrating Cabernet Sauvignon, our Grand Tasting will be held at the Westfield Under the Dome.
November 9, 38Makers – Holiday Fair at Pinterest. Join a holiday fair specially curated by Pinterest for shoppers looking for artisan, locally-made gifts in a unique and festive setting.
November 9-10, The San Francisco Fall Cider Fest. Taste 30 ciders from 8 producers, shop from food trucks, warm up by a fire pit, and hear live music at SPARK Social.
November 15, Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics. Head to the Chase Center to cheer on the Warriors in their new stadium.
November 17, The Occupation of Alcatraz. Co-presentation with the Alcatraz Canoe Journey 2019, Presidio of San Francisco, and SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, as part of a four-part, citywide series commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Alcatraz Occupation.
November 19-January 12, Cirque du Soleil – Amaluna. Cirque du Soleil returns to the San Francisco Bay Area with AMALUNA under the Big Top in Lot A at Oracle Park.
November 22, Building Lighting Ceremony & Carnival. Visit Embarcadero Center for a family carnival, a Disney ice skating show, fireworks, and the lighting of 17,000 Christmas lights at 6 p.m.
November 24, Fall Chocolate Salon. Taste fine artisan and gourmet chocolates and confections in the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park.
November 26, Pre-Thanksgiving Market. You’ll find farms and vendors from CUESA’s farmers markets, including surprises to make for a unique, delicious, and truly local Thanksgiving.
November 27-January 2, St. Francis Holiday Display. Stop by the lobby of the Westin St. Francis to admire the holiday castles with circular towers, surrounded by holiday sugar cakes.
November 29-30, The Velveteen Rabbit. Catch this classic at the Blue Shield of California Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
November 30-January 1, Gingerbread House. Made of thousands of homemade gingerbread bricks and tons of icing and candy in the lobby of the Fairmont San Francisco hotel.
